Ryan Lloyd recently sealed a short-term loan spell with Chester FC.

This was announced on the Official Website with the midfielder spending time with the National League side until the tail end of the year as this takes him through until 27th December.

Lloyd, who has turned out for the Port Vale first-team on five occasions this season, was part of the Valiants side that won the Final Third Development League last term but with the chance to play regularly on offer for a few weeks this has been taken.

Explaining the move Rob Page said.

‘This is a great opportunity for Ryan to go out and play regular men’s football at a very good level.

‘We’ve seen what a positive impact playing in the National League has had on Nathan Smith at Torquay and we’re hoping to see similar results with Ryan.

‘We’d like to wish him the best of luck during his time at Chester.’

The ticketing details for the FA Cup second round meeting with Exeter were released, also on the Official Website, earlier this week too!

Vale go to Exeter’s St James Park for this second round tie on Sunday week, 6th December for a 2pm kick-off, with these tickets going on sale ahead of the Blackpool win on Tuesday night and remain on sale.
