Louis Dodds knows Port Vale’s performance in the JPT exit against Blackpool ‘wasn’t good enough.’

He’s told the Official Website, following the two-one exit at Vale Park on Tuesday, having set the bar high previously this showing and defeat at Vale Park fell well below what was required.

‘It’s one of those things that we’re going to work hard on Thursday on the training ground to rectify our mistakes.

‘We know that’s not good enough from us because we set the bar very high on Saturday with a great performance against Sheffield United and that wasn’t us.’

Jarrett Rivers and Clark Robertson goals had Blackpool in control with Anthony Grant penalty nothing but a consolation.
