Sky Sports have reported that Fulham have made a £250,000 bid for keeper Joe Anyon, which has been turned down by the Vale Board.

The young keeper had attracted interest from Birmingham City and Liverpool towards the end of last season, however decided to sign a two year deal with Vale as he wanted first team football.

Fulham have recently signed 37-year-old Kelsey Keller, but view Anyon as a definite future Premiership goalkeeper.

The 20-year-old made his debut last December after Mark Goodlad was stretchered off against Bristol City after snapping his achillies tendon.
