The luckless Lewis Haldane faces another spell on the sidelines after news that the winger requires further surgery to remove scar tissue on his ankle. The former Bristol Rovers player has struggled since suffering a serious insect bite, which became infected, during pre-season training back in 2010, causing him to miss the first few months of the season. Having battled his way back to fitness, Haldane broke his leg in a JPT game at Tranmere last August. Micky Adams awarded Haldane a fresh six month deal in a bid to prove his fitness to the club; however, he now faces a further period out of the game. We wish Lewis well with his recovery.
