Hello Kevin Gall!

Striker Kevin Gall has today arrived at Vale Park on a one month loan from from League one outfit Carlisle Utd and is likely to find himself thrown straight into the carnage at Macclesfield tomorrow.

The 27-year-old doesn’t come with the greatest pedigree, and has yet to play any first team football with Carlisle this season, He did earlier this season have a loan spell at Lincoln City where he managed to help himself to absolutely no goals in his eleven appearances.

Surprisingly The Imps didn’t look to extend his loan period…

Gall’s stats at Carlisle read thus: Appearances – 54 Goals – 11. Given our current inhibitions in front of goal his inclusion in the Vale squad is hardly going to be met with wanton excitement from The Fans, but lets give him a chance, because surely he can’t be any worse than what we’ve seen recently…

Interestingly his agent is former Vale sicknote Lee Matthews. Which isn’t a particularly interesting fact, although Matthews did apparently inform Gall that he enjoyed his time at Vale Park.

The quotes from both men in the local press are quality. Manager Dean Glover had this to say about Gall to The Sentinel:

‘Its been frustrating for him at Carlisle…I’ve brought him because he has pace.’

Gall told The Sentinel:

‘Its been a bit frustrating this season…people say I’m very quick.’

In short both men are desperate.
