Port Vale’s League 1 season continues against Colchester at the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Tuesday; with this a 7:45pm kick-off.

Vale literally ‘paid the penalty’ on Saturday with two missed penalties costing them the points against Peterborough in a one-all draw, which saw a chance missed to move back into the top 10 and within touching distance of the top six.

Colchester come into this off the back of a five-nil thrashing on Saturday with the U’s losing three in a row and dropping to 16th.
