Rob Page will be more than happy with his opening week of the season as Port Vale secured a nil-nil draw at rivals Crewe before securing a memorable Capital One Cup win.
A one-nil win over Championship side Burnley in midweek was secured, so they’ll welcome Gillingham to Vale Park with the Valiants in confident mood!
The Gills however are looking for a third straight win though after a fine four-nil win against Sheffield United and then a League Cup win at Plymouth in midweek.
