Robert Lee, owner of Broxap, has taken aim at, well, just about everybody in an email to Port Vale supporters. Lee claims he has been the victim of “what can only be described as a moronic barrage of intimidating, ill informed & highly critical protestations in the form of emails from over 19 of Mr. Chaudry`s disciples”. The move comes in response to criticism the businessman has received for his role in the EGM of June 1st, when his late decision to switch his proxy vote in favour of supporting the Board played a key role in allowing the regime to cling on to power. While no one condones abusive and intimidating emails, Lee manages spectacularly to miss the point in his diatribe. The EGM wasn`t about Mo Chaudry. The frustration and anger felt by many supporters is nothing to do with Mo Chaudry. In fact, you wonder what planet Mr Lee has been living on over recent months. In the email, he claims that Chaudry should consider buying Robbie Williams` shareholding. “Mr Chaudry appears to be claiming that with Advisors fees of only £30000.00 he would likely have taken control of Port Vale by virtue of using Broxap’s & other shareholders voting rights, without actually buying a single share himself. If only he had purchased a few bob`s worth of shares himself it could have been a master stroke of business opportunism.” This would be the same Mo Chaudry that has come against a brick wall while attempting to purchase shares over the last eight months or so. Unbelievable.

Williams himself also attracts criticism from Lee, who suggests that the Take That star has been “has been poorly advised & should have kept out of the matter rather than becoming aligned to the three intimidating anti Board factions”.
