Luke Rodgers: Latest news…

The official Crewe Alexandra website has today stated that Luke Rodgers met with Vale representatives yesterday, but as yet has not agreed a move.

So far the clubs have agreed a £30,000 fee, allowing Rodgers to speak with Vale, however as Leyton Orient have also matched Crewe’s valuation of the player Rodgers also has the option of considering a move to London.

Crewe are in no hurry to sell the striker (Rodgers went on the transfer list on his own request), Dario Gradi has in fact made it clear he would like Rodgers to stay at the club.
