The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Oldham Athletic this Tuesday.

Port Vale travel to Oldham Athletic on Tuesday March 1 for the game at Boundary Park and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Darren Handley
Linesmen: Peter Gibbons and Michael D’aguilar
Fourth Official: Nicholas Hopton

Match Day referee Handley (Lancashire) has officiated one Port Vale game this season.

He has however already taken in 24 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 83 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Leyton Orient and Wimbledon on November 28 with a total of six yellows being shown, plus one red. He also showed six yellows in the game between Coventry City and Southend United on August 31. He moved to seven yellow cards on February 27 in the game between Peterborough and Swindon.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
