Vale`s outdated ticketing system has been handed a makeover following the announcement of a five year deal with Ticketmaster.

One of Chairman Paul Wildes` first objectives was to overhaul the antiquated system and to offer supporters more flexibility in choosing and buying tickets. Fans will now receive a credit card style season ticket for the upcoming campaign, which will enable them to purchase and print tickets at home, as well as buying bundles of tickets for groups of games.

Adam Newsam of Ticketmaster told the =’ http://www.port-vale.co.uk/news/article/14052013-ticketmaster-820204.aspx’ target=’blank’>Official Site

“We are very pleased to be announcing this new partnership with Port Vale FC. This exciting new deal will see the football club use our leading sports ticketing technology products to their full potential as they create a new, more flexible ticketing service that will enable their fans to purchase tickets online and print tickets at home.

“As well as these improvements into how supporters buy their tickets, we will be transforming the way tickets are scanned when arriving at Vale Park by installing our access control technology, which will make gaining entry a smoother process.”

The club have now sold around 2,750 season tickets ahead of this Friday`s ‘early bird` offer. A reminder that the Ticket Office will be open between 9am and 5pm today.
