One more signing?

Martin Foyle is hoping to add another player to the squad before the January window closes next week.

Foyle is not mentioning any names, but is hoping to involve the player in next weeks reserve game at Leeds United.

The Gaffer also believes that it is still possible that other clubs may put in a bid for striker Leon Constantine, although at present no-one is showing any interest.

Foyle has told ‘The Sentinel’: ‘As yet I have received no new offers for Leon or any other player. But I have made the reserve game open house, so clubs can come and have a look at what we have. However, at the moment nobody seems to be interested.’

Next weeks reserve match is on the closing day of the January transfer window, so expect a flurry of activity. Interestingly enough Foyle’s sudden interest in this new, and unnamed, player comes on the same day that Stoke City have announced that they are releasing ex-Vale midfielder Dave Brammer – but this may be complete coincidence…
