Sean Rigg has become the latest player to leave the club after signing for League Two rivals Oxford United on a two year deal. Speculation had been rife over the past couple of months that Rigg would be moving on. However, his preferred destination will be sure to raise a few eyebrows. The former Bristol Rovers winger scored on his final appearance for the Valiants against his new employers on the final day of the season.

The 23 year old has just enjoyed his most productive season in front of goal, scoring 10 times after being given the opportunity to start the campaign up front in the absence of the injured Marc Richards. However, Rigg did struggle for form towards the end of the campaign. Micky Adams, who is currently unable to bring in new faces until the Football League approve Keith Ryder`s takeover, has now lost two of his key players following the departure of Anthony Griffith to Leyton Orient. Meanwhile, Marc Richards continues to consider his future following talks with the club last week.
