Given the fact that Chris Robertson hasn’t featured for Rob Page it’s hardly a surprise that he’s available for transfer.

That was confirmed today.

Page has spelt it out pretty clearly in the Sentinel that the defender isn’t in his plans but also knows that it’s down to Robertson to accept any loan offers that might come his way having ‘circulated his name’ to other clubs.

Having ‘had a chat’ with the 28-year-old the ball is now in his court with it his decision to decide if he wants to play first-team football elsewhere or sit in the stands with us? He’s more than welcome to train Monday to Friday and then do that but he would be better off moving on.

With only four appearances to his name this season, and none under Page with these thoughts added to it I think it’s clear to see what is needed…
