After scoring his first goal for the club during last night`s 5-0 win over Stockport County, Micky Adams has confirmed that on loan Bradford striker Jake Speight will be staying with the Vale for another month. Adams told Sky sports: “Bradford have kindly allowed Jake to stay with us.

‘He’s done well, mainly coming off the bench, and with the games coming thick and fast he will be needed.’

‘I think Jake staying will be the only bit of loan business we will be doing before the window shuts tomorrow.

‘We’ve been lucky with injuries and I’m very happy with the squad.’

Speight should be eligible for Friday`s FA Cup tie against Accrington Stanley
