Sven calls off game

The official Port Vale website has tonight announced that the proposed game against Manchester City due to take place at Vale Park later this month has been cancelled at the behest of the new City boss Sven Goran-Eriksson (pictured above looking his usual smug self)

The match was originally arranged as a benefit game for Martin Foyle, so I can imagine that he is not best pleased with this bit of news.

So just what is the boring Swede’s issue here? Why’s he running scared of a friendly against The Vale?

The man’s an idiot.
