Sheffield United winger Kevan Hurst has now become a target for Vale after yesterdays departure of Jeff Smith.

21-year-old Hurst has not yet experienced first team football with Sheff Utd, but Foyle has been impressed with the form he has shown whilst on loan at Chesterfield.

Speaking to The Sentinel about the departure of Smith, Foyle said: ‘We offered Jeff a contract for next season, but couldn’t get anywhere near what Carlisle offered.’

‘We knew we would lose him at the end of the season, so I personally feel this is a good bit of business.’

  • I don’t know anything about him but if he can play on the left then lets have him! Is he the bloke that Foyle was on about early in the week?
