Vale have completed the signing of Cheltenham winger Kaid Mohamed on a two year deal.

The former Bath City winger turned down a new deal with Mark Yates` side and interest from other League One clubs to become Micky Adams` first summer signing. The 28 year old is a like for like replacement for Ashley Vincent who turned down the offer of a new deal at Vale Park.

Mohamed certainly fits the bill as an Adams ‘type` of player, being quick, athletic and strong. The Vale boss looks set to keep faith with the attacking philosophy which served his side so well last season. The Welshman told Official Site “I like the gaffer, I like what he has done in the past, I knew he liked me and Port Vale are moving on and pushing from last season.

“Last season Vale were flying, they were at the top of the league all through the season, they are a strong team and I am looking forward to joining them.”

Welcome to Vale Park, Mo.
