Tom Pope and Jennison Myrie-Williams capped off a fine season for the Valiants when they were named in the PFA League Two team of the year.

The pair enjoyed the most productive season of their careers to date. Pope`s 33 goals currently see him as the country`s top goal scorer, and were also enough to see him crowned as the League Two player of the season. Myrie-Williams, meanwhile, has finally reaped the rewards in what has been a largely nomadic career to date. After turning out for a host of clubs, both north and south of the border, the winger seems to have finally settled in the Potteries. Manager Micky Adams` faith in the 24 year old proved well placed, as the former Bristol City player proved an instrumental part of Vale`s attacking play. With a little more consistency with his final ball, he is one player who could play a crucial part in Vale`s ability to succeed at a higher level next season.

Pope was also named as the Supporters` player of the season at the end of year awards at Vale Park on Sunday night. Goalkeeper Chris Neal was named as the players` player of the season, Sam Johnson as the young player and Dougie Price as the Youth Team player of the season.

Congratulations to all.
