Former FC Porto winger Enoch Andoh has today joined Port Vale subject to international clearance coming through.

The 21 year old has signed a deal until the end of next season and he has been training with the club for the last few weeks, taking in the reserve win over Shrewsbury Town a few weeks back.

He spent the 2011/12 season at FC Porto, helping their youth side to their Under 19 Championship win and speaking to the Official Site as he announced the deal, manager Rob Page explained.

‘We’ve finally got Enoch signed. He showed in a couple of reserve games what he is capable of doing, certainly in the game at Shrewsbury. I think he’s a great addition to the squad, to the development and one that we’re excited about.’

Having spent the last two season’s with Cypriot First Division side AEL Limassol, the Ghana youth international said of the deal himself.

‘I’m very happy to be here and first of all I thank God for this opportunity. I thank the coaching staff, especially the coach and the chairman, I’m very happy to be here and I will work hard every day in training and games to help the team.’
