With more bad weather forecast overnight, Vale have called a 9am pitch inspection to check whether Saturday’s match against Barnet can take place. Temperatures are expected to fall to -4 overnight, around the level that the Vale Park pitch covers can protect to. With the possibility of more freezing weather tomorrow, the game appears to be in some doubt.
