Glover Returns

With rumours persisting over the state of Keith Ryder`s proposed takeover of the club, one of the stranger recent developments has seen the return of Dean Glover. Glover left the club under a cloud following a disastrous spell in charge as manager. This, together with the role many believe he played in Lee Sinnott`s dismissal as Vale boss, sadly clouded the view of many supporters despite his tremendous service to the club as a player. Glover has now returned to the club as Youth Team Manager. With fans anxiously awaiting the green light from the Football League, little news has emerged as to whether the deal is still on track, or as some are speculating, set to collapse. Quite who has appointed Glover or, given the strength of feeling among supporters for a fresh start, why, remains to be seen?
