In Monday evening’s first round draw for the FA Cup, Port Vale have been given a home tie against MK Dons.

Vale have never met MK Dons in a cup competition yet but the last time we met in the league at Vale Park, Jordan Hugill scored the winner in a one nil victory.

Dons sit in seventh place at this minute in time in League One with 24 points after 13 games.

The full details for the match are yet to be finalised, but it will take place on the weekend beginning November 7.

Speaking to the Official Site interim manager Rob Page said he felt it was a positive draw for the club and he was looking forward to the game.

‘We’ve obviously got the home draw which is pleasing. We can get the fans to have a look at arguably one of the better teams in our division and from our point of view it’s positive because our home form is there for everyone to see.’

This site is looking for a new editor but would also like your blogs, so if a fan can offer us a genuine opinion from someone that supports Port Vale we would love to share it with the masses!
